SQL 2008 R2 (64-bit) password Length Invalid

description

I don't know if things have been tested in a 64-bit environment, however I am getting "Length of the data to decrypt is invalid." error when trying to connect. I have tried all sorts of variations on 4 to get a password that will work. Streight ODBC connections work, but not when placed in the web.config file.

I am trying this on a Windows 7 (64-bit) desktop will a full SQL 2008 R2 (64-bit) engine.

I love the 32-bit original version and have been waiting for this new version since March. Hope you can help.

If you're referring to the web.config DBPassword - it is an encrypted string which get decrypted using clsEncrypt.GetDecryptString function.
Create your encrypted password to place in the config file using clsEncrypt.GetEncryptString function.

dim strEncryptString as string = clsEncrypt.GetEncryptString("your password")
